We will advise you on how many treatment sessions are required, noting that the larger the area to be treated, the more sessions will be necessary. The level of discoloration will also affect how many sessions are required.

If you would like treatment for vitiligo, please wait until it has been dormant for at least seven years. Medical tattooing is not an option for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.

How long does the treatment session last?  

The number of treatment sessions needed will determine the overall cost, but we will discuss this at your consultation so you can make an informed decision before proceeding with a treatment.  

Does it matter if I have a tan before the treatment?  

It is very important that your skin is not tanned when you have an upcoming medical tattoo session. Pigments are blended to your natural skin tone, so if you have a tan that fades, the tattooed area will appear darker than the rest of your body.  

Does it hurt?  

Medical tattooing isn’t painful, but the treatment area may feel a little tender. Rest assured, a numbing anesthetic can be used if you are particularly sensitive to discomfort. Each treatment takes approximately one hour.  

Can I go straight back to work after the treatment?  

You can expect the area to look a bit red for up to 72 hours, but you are fine to return to work immediately after a treatment session.  

Is aftercare provided?   

Yes, of course!
