Consultation
Book a consultation to discover what to expect from a medical tattooing or skin camouflage tattooing procedure. We’ll discuss whether the treatment is suitable for you and conduct some skin patch tests to ensure you are not sensitive or allergic to the ink used in the treatment.
✨️ The Medical Tattooing Treatment Process
We will advise you on how many treatment sessions are required, noting that the larger the area to be treated, the more sessions will be necessary. The level of discoloration will also affect how many sessions are required.
Treatment success will be partially determined by the aftercare protocols, which will be discussed with you during the initial consultation.
Whether you're looking for areola pigmentation, lip blush, or scar & stretch marks camouflage, we've got you covered. Angie Lash can relate to your story; she is a cancer survivor who has faced a mastectomy and several reconstructive surgeries. 🩷
* When Medical Tattooing is Not Recommended
If you would like treatment for vitiligo, please wait until it has been dormant for at least seven years. Medical tattooing is not an option for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
✨️ Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the treatment session last?
The number of treatment sessions needed will determine the overall cost, but we will discuss this at your consultation so you can make an informed decision before proceeding with a treatment.
Does it matter if I have a tan before the treatment?
It is very important that your skin is not tanned when you have an upcoming medical tattoo session. Pigments are blended to your natural skin tone, so if you have a tan that fades, the tattooed area will appear darker than the rest of your body.
Does it hurt?
Medical tattooing isn’t painful, but the treatment area may feel a little tender. Rest assured, a numbing anesthetic can be used if you are particularly sensitive to discomfort. Each treatment takes approximately one hour.
Can I go straight back to work after the treatment?
You can expect the area to look a bit red for up to 72 hours, but you are fine to return to work immediately after a treatment session.
Is aftercare provided?
Yes, of course!
✨️ Your scar camouflage treatment is a comprehensive 1-2 hour clinical procedure. This includes a detailed consultation, mapping/design, the application, and a review of post-procedural care.
To ensure the highest level of safety, I adhere to strict sterile protocols by bringing a full suite of medical-grade equipment to your location. This includes hospital-grade disinfectants (CaviWipes), single-use disposable barriers, and sterilized professional tools to maintain a completely aseptic environment in your home space.
✨️ I handle all services personally and am usually with a client. For the fastest response, please send over a text or an audio memo with your questions. I can’t wait to chat with you soon!
